SUMMER ACTING CAMPS
Our award-winning summer camps are an excellent opportunity for students with any level of acting experience. In a fun, high-energy environment, we help students build self-confidence and make new friends while learning from working professionals in the theater and film industries. We offer weekly acting camps, specialty programs in musical theater, improv, technical theater, devised theater, and advanced programs! We offer programs for students aged 3.5-18 years.
All of our actors will participate in the final presentation, shared for a live audience of family and friends on Friday.
Space is limited in each age group. Registering early is recommended.
Weekly Acting Camps (ages 5-18)
Each group has their own acting class that focuses on age-appropriate performance skills, as well as styles related to the theme. Young actors will develop skills and an incredibly wide variety of acting styles, methods, theories, and techniques from AFYP instructors. All of our actors will participate in the final presentation, shared for a live audience of family and friends on Friday.
Different weekly themes provide variety and inspiration, but our daily and weekly routines provide structure throughout the summer. Students are welcome to attend multiple weeks and will be working on new material each session.

Musical Theatre Programs
We offer musical theater programs for a variety of ages and experience levels. Spend the summer singing, dancing, and acting with AFYP!
Musical Theater Cabaret (ages 13-18, by audition)
Our long-time Musical Theater Bootcamp program has been retitled this year. Still led by Emi Eiting, this program for intermediate to advanced musical theater performers requires a successful audition and application for enrollment.
Special Topic Classes
For students who are not as interested in musical theater, we offer programs in Improv Comedy, Technical Theater, and—brand new this year—a two week long program in Devised Theater!
We are offering several sessions of Summer Acting Discoveries, an introduction to acting for our very youngest students (ages 3.5-5).
